What Youll DoThe Secure Policy and Access (SPA) team in Cisco is looking for talented individuals to build the next generation suite of services for the Intent Based Network that enables enhanced control of the wired and wireless network in both on-prem and cloud environment with near real time actionable views across the network, security, device, user and applicationsIn this position you would be responsible for the System Testing, Automation and Performance/Scale Engineering in a distributed development team in a highly automated Agile environmentWho Youll Work WithThe Security Policy Access (SPA) under Enterprise Networking (EN) is a group of high energy, customer focused engineers who bring diverse perspectives and experiences to solve the toughest NAC engineering challenges.You will play a key role in extensively testing SPA On-prem and Cloud products, solutions, and offerings.We are SPA System Test -SST team and our mission is to guarantee the quality of SPA offerings. We work on features big and small in order to build the best NAC solutions in the world. This team does it all, so youll never be bored, and youll constantly be learning new technologies. Who You Are- MS/BS in computer science or engineering- 10+ years of experience in non-functional testing System Testing, Failover/Recovery, Load/Stress testing and complex test automation framework design- Good understanding of Networking protocols (802.1x, RADIUS, TACACS, HTTP)- Good understanding of Wireless Technologies (802.11)- Strong programming and SW Automation skills in Python/Java/Golang- Strong skills in Cloud, Docker/Containers, Microservices Technologies- Experience with Linux operating systems- Experience in performance test tools like JMeter/Locust is a desired.- Experience in RestAPI/OpenAPI testing.- Able to design test case and automate.- Strong analytical and debugging skills- Passion for learning and self-improvement- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Good experience with test management , defect tracking tools, CI/CD tools like Jenkins.Why CiscoWe connect everything: people, processes, data, and things.
