Job Description

*Telematics Validation T7 1 PositionJob responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible to independently validate and sign-off software modules for Embedded Telematics systems.
  • Come up with test cases from the requirement specification, test management strategy, planning & execution.
  • Achieve complete automation for verification, validation and reporting processes
  • Understand existing system to be able to contribute to use cases and enhance processes
  • Come up HIL setups with different flavors - with real components and virtual simulated components
  • Contribute to the existing practices with fresh thoughts to improve productivity
Job experience:
  • ~8-10 years of overall experience in embedded systems validation
  • ~2 years of automation experience in Python with emphasis on test frameworks like Pytest & data driven testing
  • Hands On Experience in Telematics domain with good understanding of Telematics Control Unit, Telematics use cases and how everything fits in the context of IoT
  • Working knowledge about upcoming connectivity technologies like V2V & V2X.
  • Working knowledge of cloud & backend communications with Telematics Control unit.
  • Expertise in shell scripting, python based automation frameworks
  • Expertise in working with Linux like environment
  • Experience in Automotive domain, with exposure to in vehicle networks
  • Experience in variety protocols from different layers Serial protocols, CAN, TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT, Ethernet
  • Having been a part of an agile team
  • Good to have experience in DevOps
Technical skills:
  • Automation testing
  • Python, Pytest, bash, windows batch scripting
  • git, jira, gerrit, RTC
  • Doors, DoorsNG
  • Core Java, jUNIT, TestNG, Mockito, Selenium
  • Jenkins
  • Well acquainted with IDEs like Pycharm , eclipse, IntelliJ,
  • Practical knowledge on Computer Networks
  • Security Concepts Public key cryptography, Encryption
  • Concepts in the web HTTP, TLS
