Job Description

Our SDET team members will develop , implement , and sustain test automation processes , practices , and controls in support of faster time to market and quality within the software delivery life cycle. This role will follow our test automation strategy by building requirements and designing code to ensure implementation and execution of our automation test environment. They will also be responsible to creating high quality , maintainable , and performant code for automated test cases and the frameworks to execute and report on.Essential functions and responsibilities Writing , Fixing and Reviewing Automated Test Scripts for BVT , Acceptance and Regression Test Suites Implementing new and enhancing existing Automation Test Framework To ensure test scripts are always up to date and monitor their status during every run Ensuring proper reporting of Automated Test Execution results and ability to provide detailed reports with failures analysis Maintaining Jenkins Test Grid and nightly jobs , ensuring automated product deployments Closely coordinates with both Dev , QEs , Product Owners and DevOps in an agile setup with desire to have ownership from build , deployment , monitoring and operational support Need to create Tasks in JIRA and maintain automation status updates in qTest for applicable Test Suites Desired behaviors Receptive to change is flexible , seeks and adopts improved approaches and processes Initiates action is results oriented , takes responsibility for actions and outcomes. Influences and drives quality across teams , disciplines , and the organization Strong analytical and problem - solving skills as well as the ability to decompose complex problems and perform root cause analyses Understand the impact of technology on business challenges , processes , and efficiency Explain benefits of a technical product / solution to a client in relation to the client s business needs Translate technical information into easy to understand language for customers Compose clear and concise technical written communication Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or similar 2 to 6 years of software industry experience and successful track record in product testing Experience automating Web based Applications using Selenium with C# Experience in white box integration and APIs testing and basic OOPS concepts with C# Experience in Test Designing , Test cases , Test scripts , Test Automation & Test Reporting Experience in automating smoke , acceptance , functional , regression test suites Experience working in Agile Methodologies Excellent problem solving and logical thinking skills Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English Preferable experience doing Desktop Automation using Test Stack White framework Preferable experience with Jenkins and JMeter Tools This job posting does not imply that these are the only duties to be performed.
