Job Description

FrontEnd DeveloperJob Summary:-We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our product engineering team. You will be responsible for developing the browser-based client-side componentsof solutions within the Indegene product portfolio.You will work collaboratively with the designers and usability experts to ensure a great user experience. You will be using various client-side technologies to developthese components, and as part of the engineering team, you will collaborate on the requirements to ensure that the front-end components can be properly integrated withthe server-side components developed by your team mates.-Work with product development team to plan front-end components based on business requirements, usability requirements, and technical requirements.Collaborate with designers and usability experts to ensure a great client-side user experience.Hands-on coding / development as required as part of the core engineering team.Follow the agile development methodology implemented in the engineering team.Actively participate in testing and support/maintenance activities.Participate in code peer review processes and quality improvement initiatives within the engineering team.Education and Experience:-3 to 5 years of relevant experience.Strong proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.Strong proficiency with Angular js.Good experience or exposure to usability best practices for browser-based web applications.Basic understanding of what is involved in integrating client-side components with server side components in a web-application context.Angular experience highly recommended.Proficient in code versioning tools such as Git and SVN.Ability to write quality code that is reusable,testable, and efficient.Experience in following an agile development process.Personal characteristics:-Strong portfolio and excellent attitude.Delivery oriented and able to work under strict deadlines.Ability to drive the project with the team.Problem-solving and innovation skills are a must.Detail oriented and ability to organize.Must be self-confident to work in a team and individually.Strong communication skills.
