Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst Location: Coralville, IA *Hybrid (On-Site/Work from Home)**May require on-site occasional presence for team meetings, etc. Purpose statement: The Senior Financial Analyst works primarily with internal financial reporting requirements and will have a principal role supporting operations; providing insightful, actionable forecasting, planning and analysis. Essential Functions:
• Partners with operations to understand and serve business needs
• Provides timely, organized and informative analysis
• Assists in measuring, summarizing and interpreting business results
• Drives process improvement
• Maintains accurate records in compliance with GAAP
• Monitors results in the general ledger to ensure that the flow of transactions is correct for the needs of internal and external reporting
• Participates, develops and documents processes for key accounting and business process initiatives
• Participates in the month-end close process
• Supports budget development and reporting
• Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values
• Performs other duties as assigned
Education:
• Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• MBA or CPA preferred
Professional Experience:
• Three to five years of related experience required
Other Job Qualifications:
• Knowledge of the principles, processes and standards for financial analysis and reporting, including revenue recognition
• Demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office applications, Power BI suite
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
• Ability to analyze and interpret data; ability to communicate conclusions and recommendations when appropriate
• Detail oriented and organized
• Ability to perform under stress when confronted with emergent, critical, unusual, or dangerous situations, or situation in which working speed and sustained attention are make-or-break aspects of the job.
• Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
