Job Description

    Manager - Test Engineering POSITION SUMMARY The Project Manager plans, coordinates, and manages the execution of various projects, ensuring adherence to all project performance targets such as timing, cost, quality, and achievement of proposed benefits/return. This role gathers project requirements, establishes project plans, confirms cost structures, and oversees the overall execution of the project. The Project Manager effectively leads the production team to develop and adapt processes, policies, and workflows to continuously improve efficiency, accuracy, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. This role partners and interacts with various departments and teams to work collaboratively to manage production projects and ensure strategic goals are met and exceeded while ensuring all projects maintain their critical path. Job Responsibilities:
    • Manage the Test Technology, Production Test Areas, Develop and maintain Test systems (Testers & Fixtures) up to the mark
    • Responsible for new product s Tester setup and production ramp, and Test capacity ramp-up
    • Responsible for cost effective manufacturing of products (R&M Cost reduction) through competent utilization of available resources
    • Drive and achieve Product yields across Test stages and Tester uptime with MTTR and MTBF metrics
    • Test capacity strategy Planning, Budget planning, Execution & control
    • Engineering Change Order Management (ECN)
    • Maintenance Planning Strategies (AM, PM & TPM)
    • Drive Continuous Improvements KEIZAN and POKA YOKE
    • Organizing staff, their training and development, also manage and control the staff to achieve KPIs
    • Develops, Extend and apply policies, procedures, strategies, and standards for the technical and engineering work performed.
    Qualifications / Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning)Bachelor s Degree in Engineering / Business Administration or related field; or an equivalent combination ofeducation and experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the jobrequired5+ years of previous test engineering experience is preferredPrior managerial/supervisory experience preferredNeed to have excellent coordination abilities and motivational skills.Ability to travel as necessaryStrong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills Qualifications:
    • Bachelor s Degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engineering or related field with minimum 15 years of relevant experience
    • Must have previous management experience and ability to manage a Team.
    • Basic knowledge and experience in MS Office.
    • Possess strong communication skills to effectively communicate with cross functional teams
