Job Description

    Hi,Hope you are doing well!Greetings from Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn BhdPlease find the Job details below: Job title: Java Developer Role: six months extendable contract under the payroll of Verinon Technology Solutions Sdn Bhd Location: Initially six months you will be working from home and later your job location would be Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia Roles and ResponsibilitiesACCOUNTABILITIES
    • Responsible for the development of e-Commerce systems and any other system applications as assigned
    • Develop program specifications and code programs to agreed standards
    • Conduct requirements gathering, analysis, design and planning of application changes to meet business requirements
    • Assist to conduct feasibility studies and functional analysis
    • Test and debug programs, ensuring necessary changes are implemented and documented
    • Involve in system integration testing and user acceptance testing
    • Provide user and system support during and post implementation
    • Develop documentations and user guides
    • Assist in the continuous improvement of IT quality objectives and procedures
    • Carry out other special projects/tasks as may be directed
    QUALIFICATION
    • Preferably with 4-5 years relevant experience in system analysis and programming
    • Insurance operational exposure is an advantage
    KNOWLEDGE
    • Technology trends and directions
    • J2EE/Java programming, EJB, JSP, Servlet, JDBC, JavaScript, VBasic, HTML5, CSS3
    • XML, UML, Java Reporting Tools, Crystal Reports, Content Management System (dotCMS)
    • Databases IBM DB2, MS SQL, Database synchronization
    • Struts Framework, object oriented analysis and development
    • Multi-server system integration knowledge
    • Polisy/400 Application knowledge
    • IT Security Awareness
    • Project Management techniques
    • Basic general insurance knowledge
