Job description: XR Unity Developer Role Description The XR Lead Developer will be responsible for independently managing his/her assigned jobs and/or projects for XR clients. He/she will work closely with XR Manager and XR Leadership, as well as manage and lead a multifunctional team of Developers & 3D artists (internal and vendor) in India to execute world-class experiences. The XR Lead Developer will also ensure that all work is on strategy and contributes to growing the CIO XR business. Job Requirements Key Responsibilities o To develop Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality based application based on the client requirement. The resource is expected to work on Vuforia, Unity, C# for Unity and JavaScript for Unity and Model Creation for Unity. Candidate has to be a strong team player and self-learner having the ability to listen well and comprehend, good customer service attitude to clearly articulate customer needs/requirements. o Should independently handle Augmented Reality based projects developed through Unity 3D for iOS, and Android devices. o Should have experience in creating 3D elements in Unity 3D. Should have good experience in C# for Unity. o Should have good experience in JavaScript for Unity. Independently create models/elements in unity. o Extensive knowledge of Unity, as well as extensive experience as a game programmer, using C# on a major development platform, such as Microsoft Visual Studio (or equivalent). o Key Skills: Unity3D, C#, C++ and Javascript. Knowledge of Angular, node.JS and WebGL will be add-on o Native iOS & Android app development experience a plus o Assist other members of the XR department/team as needed when the workload allows. Technical Experience o Strong proficiency with c# and scripting. o Understanding the nature of 3d programming, 3d pipeline, asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds o Complete knowledge of Unity3D including Unity GUI, asset bundles, materials and shaders, and iPhone/Android deployment o Good knowledge of game physics and particle systems, game designing skills are a definite plus o Familiarity with current SDK and architectural patterns such AR Core, AR Kit, Vuforia, Oculus, HTC Vive Hololens is preferred o Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities o Experience in graphic programming- procedural mesh generation animations in a plus o Experience creating and working with shaders is a plus o Understanding accessibility and security compliance, learn and implement Enterprise policies and standards. o Experience Implementing Integrations between multiple systems, servers, and environments o Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests o A basic understanding of machine learning and computer vision in a plus o Strong conceptual skills, including the ability to develop integrated ideas that transcend different media and connect with very specific audiences. o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. o Demonstrated ability to develop and mentor creative team members.
