Job Description

    Job DescriptionSoftware Architect for Active Safety ProjectsCreate secure, robust, highly responsive and resilient architecture that meets the performance and scalability needs of the platform, consuming applications and our customers.Evaluate product requirements in collaboration with product owners, technical leads and other stockholder.Conduct architecture review, design and solutions for multiple engineering teams and oversee code reviews.Collaborate with product managers, key stakeholders, and business groups to categorize and describe solutions for business and technical requirements.Stay on track with latest technologies for the domain and apply the experience and knowledge on architecture and to improve the product features.Develop and own architectural roadmap and ensure the product aligns with the business, clients and stakeholders strategies and requirement.Explain the status & value of proposed design/Solution to stakeholders.Analyze and articulate current technological solutions and proposed valued.Demonstrate leadership and excellent skills in evaluating alternatives and motivating the team in reaching optimal solutionsWork with internal as well as external stakeholders to create short-term and long-term technology roadmapCreate and maintain architecture documents and artefactsHands-on contribution as and when required to solve complex issuesWork closely with developers and QA to ensure the right solution is implementedDrive POCs for innovations, new features, integrations and feasibility studiesTake initiatives to prepare for the future demands and technology direction.Have hands on coding in Embedded C, C++ or Model Based developments.Required Skills:B.E/B.Tech, M.E/ M.Tech in Electronics and Communication or Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics9+Years of technical experience with 3+ Years of experience as Architect in product development.Extensive professional experience working as a software architect designing and architecting software solutions for large enterprises.Excellent Embedded systems Concepts in Automotive domainStrong SW Analysis, debugging and problem solving skillsAbility to understand and take decision on technical proposalsGood at understanding Logics/algorithmsStrong at fundamentals of Physics.Automotive system knowledge (ECU, Sensors, Software) and technical mindsetGood negotiating and convincing skillsEmbedded SW design and development experienceAwareness of Hardware, Hardware & Software Interface, Software Development ModelsExcellent Communication and Interpersonal skillsKnowledge on SW development life cycleKnowledge on Simulation processGood knowledge of ASPICE and ISO 26262Hands on experience in Model Based Development sExperience in working with International /Inter-Cultural teamsHands on experience in Agile MethodologyAdded Advantage:Working experience in Active Safety projects and Tools usedExperience in using Change management and version management tools (like Rational ClearQuest, SVN, DOORS, Clear Case etc),
