Job Description

    Greetings!!We are looking to hire Sales Manager for a leading Hotel/Resorts/Hospitality brand for multiple locations -Delhi,Mumbai, Bangalore, Coimbatore.Below are the major KRAs for this job-To research, develop opportunities, plan calls, MICE and increase the coverage in Coimbatore.He/ She will be responsible for generating leads.Maintain and Develop the Database.Total revenue contribution to company.Managing a portfolio of accounts based in the given geography.Market scanning, capturing the voice of customer and Knowledge management of accounts.Monthly sales and marketing report submission.Exploring revenue growth within the existing portfolio from all avenues and segments Viz: FIT, MICE, Social, Corporate business & or Travel Agentsnew account acquisition and contracts growth from new accountsCompetition and fair market share mapping for Travel agency/Corporates/MICE business Identifying new opportunities to grow business by targeting competition accountsWeekly/Monthly review with Regional Head of Sales and Unit Heads.Business Development, Account management and Relationship Management (Internal & External )Review classification of accounts into categories based on potential or past performance, trends, productivity, identify performing and nonperforming accounts in conjunction with the hotels.Objectives of the Position
    • To ensure budgeted targets are met
    • To ensure growth in revenues from the portfolio for all hotels
    • Nurturing, maintaining, and building stronger relationships with clients that can be leveraged to grow revenue and loyalt
    • To have better visibility of the brand.
    • To analyze local market trends and competitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel a leader in the marketplace through the development of future and repeat business
    • Key Accountabilities/Duties & Responsibilities
      • Analysis of local market trends and competitor activity to identify business leads.
      • Develop customer accounts and travel within the local area to drive business into the unit and to increase market/customer share in all revenue streams.
      • Negotiate room rates/packages with corporate clients.
      • Prepare company contracts for the hotel in accordance with current business and pricing conditions.
      • Work within current business strategies and recognizing potential opportunities.
      • Cooperate with other departments in the hotel to create an exceptional Guest experience and build strong, comprehensive sales programs
      • Produce accurate and timely reports that meet the needs of the Head of Sales and senior management to include the reporting of appointments, calls made and business leads.
      • Answer customer queries in a prompt and professional manner.
      • Maintain accurate and up to date information on competitions performance, sales & marketing strategy etc.
      • Daily brief and debrief of the sales calls, breakfast meetings, telecalls with periodic reviews and guidance of the direct reports.
      • Monitor competition pricing activities, Hotel BOB & track events to ensure proper and timely inputs to revenue management team
      Explore business opportunities outside from the local market area and travelling as and when required
