This person will be Single interface for all Database related work.He / She will be a part of R&D team.Key responsibilities

  • The Database Expert is responsible for handling any customer escalations, customer queries
  • Suggest efficient design for NCC features based on best principles of Aerospike
  • Suggest product enhancements, product tunings to get maximum performance
  • To interface with Aerospike and get updates, read Aerospike release notes, and suggest accordingly to NCC, to raise tickets towards Aerospike and get faster resolutions
  • Take trainings and educate other NCC team members on DB concepts
QualificationBachelor s or master s degree (Computers/IT) or MCA with 7+ years of relevant experienceSkills Required
  • Strong knowledge of Aerospike server concepts (such as partitioning, replication, master/replica management, migrations/rebalancing, scaling, heartbeats, XDR (pre and post 5.x), XDR proxy, secondary indexes, etc.)
  • Sound knowledge of various Aerospike configuration and tuning parameters.
  • Knowledge of various Aerospike server generated metrics
  • Analysis of Aerospike server logs.
  • Should be able to debug issues faced on customer environments (RCA analysis)
  • Various storage configurations supported by Aerospike and advantages of each.
  • Knowledge of TLS for server-server, client-server and DC-DC communication
  • Knowledge of OS (Red Hat/Centos) parameters and tuning to extract best performance from Aerospike server
  • Knowledge of Aerospike java-client features and read/write/query policies.
  • Detailed knowledge of NoSQL database concepts
  • Should know and help design the data model considering Aerospike strengths and constraints.
  • Scripting languages (Perl, Bash & Python)

  • Istio service mesh
  • Knowledge of other competing databases
