Ciena makes your social / entertainment / business existence REAL.Position SummaryThe Foundational Applications Analyst is responsible for implementation, integration, automation and improvement of access management solutions including, but not limited to, Single Sign On & Federation, Directory Services, Multifactor Authentication and Web Access Management.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Implement and support SSO application integration, federation, and user lifecycle management
  • Define, manage, and improve the security controls including MFA and access policies
  • Perform installation and manage Active Directory servers in a hybrid environment
  • Work with the solutions lead to validate integration needs with proposed technical solution
  • Manage on-prem and cloud hosted Windows servers
  • Manage network services including DNS and DHCP
  • Perform generic system administration duties and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues efficiently
  • Plan, implement, and support changes related to the managed services
  • Document procedures of changes and new application integrations
Required Skills
  • Identity Platform (working with SAML, OpenID Connect, OAuth 2.0 & SCIM protocols)
  • Understanding of Azure and AWS Cloud Computing Environment
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory
  • Windows Server OS 2012/2016/2019
  • Good networking concepts and understanding of DNS & DHCP

Education / Experience
  • B.S. degree computer science or related degree or relevant experience
  • Total of about eight years of system administration experience
  • 4 years of System Administration of Windows Server Environments
  • 2years of experience in Identity Platform (understanding working with SAML, OpenID Connect & OAuth 2.0 protocols).
