This is a pivotal role to build out and transform our data operations within SLC Management. This role will require an understanding of technology, data resolution, and the ability to interface with multiple teams. The Data Operations team is responsible for ensuring the integrity and quality of the Investment Data Hubs (IDH) master datasets (Asset Master, Position Master, Product Master, Account master, Price Master). Data from the IDH is used across SLC Management including Trading, Compliance, Accounting, Reporting and Performance systems.Skills/CapabilitiesAbility to understand financial analysis / investments / fixed income securities4+ years of SQL experience with ability to understand and write complex SQL queriesBasic Maths / Quants knowledgeAnalytical ability to evaluate data trends and performanceProficient on MS Excel and MS OfficeAble to work independently on assignments with appropriate judgement, and demonstrate resourcefulness and perseverance in solving problemsExcellent collaboration skills and the ability to work in a team environment across multiple sitesAbility to learn fast and replicate the best practicesAbility to learn via remote trainings and effectively deliver the sameDecision making ability supported with dataAble to manage multiple priorities and conflicting deadlinesExhibit people management and leadership skillsKnowledge of client management / stakeholder managementResponsibilitiesWorking with technology to resolve file load integrity issues and validate that the load lifecycle completed successfullyEscalates issues in a timely manner to the Management TeamReview day-to-day data exceptions and data alignment dashboard, proactively researching data issues/variances, and resolving the issue.Contribute to testing enhancements and new processes in UATEducation and ExperienceGraduate degree in Engineering, Finance, Math, Computer or Data Science, or any related field of study, Full time MBA (Finance) will be an advantageAround 4+ years of experience in SQL with ability to understand and write complex SQL queriesExperience with large with Master data sets; security, position, product, and accountUnderstanding of data modelling and logical/physical database designExperience in asset management and an understanding of market/financial dataWorking experience with IHS Markit EDMKnowledge of financial data including SEDOL, ISIN etc.Sound knowledge of Bloomberg database,
