Job Description

    *Head of Treasury Greater India Zone At Schneider Electric the Financing & Treasury department is organized around the corporate team with 15 geographical zone organizations to support the business in each zone and make the link with the Group policies and ambitions. We are currently looking for a new Head of the Treasury team in the Greater India Zone to lead the team locally, stay connected with all local stakeholders as well as with the corporate team.The role has a direct reporting line with the Regional corporate treasury head and a functional line with the local Greater India Zone CFO.Summarized technical job description:
    • Understand the corporate policies, rules and targets
    • Build the bridge between the local needs and the group policies, ambitions and requirements
    • Support business growth and ensuring compliance with group rules
    • Act as subject matter expert in solution sales to ensure compliance with group guidelines
    • Understand, manage, and supervise all aspects of cash flow, manage working capital, inter-company cash pooling/lending, capital injections, ECB s etc.
    • Evaluate alternative long-term borrowing strategies and make recommendations in accordance with the capital structure guidelines.
    • Manage long-term and short-term investment strategies. Evaluate, develop and implement cash management systems to optimize efficiencies.
    • Provide technical and other support for mergers and acquisitions and other projects as needed including Finance-Business Partnership
    • Fully conversant with forex market regulations, FEMA compliances and other regulatory matters.
    • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures.
    • Develop and monitor treasury operational policies.
    • Maintain credit rating agency relationships
    • Create digital and smart treasury ecosystem leveraging AI, ML, robotic process automation and data analytics
    • Passionate about creating the best team to support the group equity story
    Required Education & Experience:
    • Must possess an CA with 15+ years of overall experience in cash management, capital markets, and/ or corporate finance in a corporate or a banking environment
    • Advanced analytical, interpersonal, financial and systems skills required
    • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, verbal and written skills
