Job Description

Job Summary:The Business Operations (BusOps) team supports EY Knowledge to help EY win and deliver in the market by enabling EY Knowledge leadership, its functions and people with consistent talent, finance, integrated knowledge planning and reporting tools and processes with the aim of delivering efficiency gains, consistent methodologies, and a culture of innovation, continuous improvement and excellence across the knowledge organization. The team s key objectives are:

  • Optimize the value creation of the knowledge organization through an integrated knowledge planning process * Leading financial and budgetary planning and support for EY Knowledge
  • Co-develop EY Knowledge s strategic financial, people and growth plan, establish effective budget management and controls and develop, deploy and reporting and KPIs
  • Instill a strong sense of partnership with the receiving organizational units and drive operational precision and consistency
  • Manage consistent talent and finance processes, tools and reporting, ensuring continuous improvement, automation and optimization
  • Build and drive an innovation culture and report on our progress
The Operations Program Manager is responsible for co-developing and leading an operations portfolio that focuses on supporting the implementation of programs and activities that advance the way we manage business and financial planning, people, demand and resourcing within EY Knowledge. This role includes, but is not limited to a focus on the following areas of responsibilities:
  • Working closely with EY Knowledge leadership to co-develop how we maintain visibility into EY Knowledge s progress against delivering to our business, financial and growth plans, and managing our operational approach to achieving each
  • Serving as the EY Knowledge business-side leadership of the KST&O tool suite that are critical to support EY Knowledge s business operations, acting as the authority on enhancements, releases, and user experiences
  • Lead the development of reporting and dashboards to arm EY Knowledge leaders with actionable data, tools and insights management to enable their delivery and productivity
  • Coordinate with other support functions (Global / GDS Finance and Talent, GDS Central Operations, etc) to operationalize policies and collaborate and implement strategic operations projects
  • Role models a continuous improvement mindset and take the time to provide constructive challenge and feedback to strengthen the tangible impact of operations support, and to identify opportunities to innovate and enhance the tools and consistent methodologies and processes
  • Working closely with the Business Operations Leader and the GDS KST&O Leader, this position will surface new ideas and potential best practices and may participate in transformation initiatives to innovate, automate, and improve operational capabilities
The focus of the Operations Program Manager Operations Support Team Lead is on managing all aspects of operations, compliance and risk management, and leads a high performing Business Operations team. It also includes the management of the tools, processes, training, reporting and dashboards that supports the portfolio.Purpose of the Job:For all Operations Program Managers Assistant Directors:
  • Collaborate with pillar stakeholders to ensure they have the information required to effectively manage their businesses and achieve goals
  • Create and implement workflows to assist in standardization of processes and to achieve high quality outcomes
  • Evaluate data and report outcomes, elevate recommendations for improvements
  • Lead, participate in and contribute to priority projects, as required For Operations Program Managers Operations Support Team Lead:
  • Direct and lead the Business Operations Team based in the GDS to support the effective execution of Business Operation tasks and activities
  • Responsible for carrying out and managing the majority of financial and operational transactions required by EY Knowledge, including management of invoicing and billing
  • Oversee the production and delivery of dashboards and reporting, i.e. P&L, utilization, VOC/CX, IP/IKP/CC, travel, people, excellence awards etc
  • Oversee the delivery of KST&O tools enhancements as well as day to day maintenance and service quality
  • Develop materials and provide training to EY Knowledge professionals on financial and planning matters
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
  • Understands the firm s go-to-market strategy and service delivery models, how core business services support business lines, and how knowledge business operations enable exceptional client service and high performing teams.
  • Understands EY s Vision and ensures key knowledge business operations strategies are aligned to them
  • Manages moderate to complex projects that require the ability to create and implement timelines related to project deliverables, assign tasks and follow up on their completion and manage sponsor/stakeholder expectations of the outcome of the deliverables.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
  • Understanding of business drivers and impact on quality reporting
  • Understanding of EY policies and procedures relating to finance (Planning)
  • Ability to identify complex issues proactively and assess risks and consult with leadership and/or stakeholders on options to drive innovative solutions
  • Requires high performance against Increasingly complex projects that require leadership authority across working groups, authoritative program management and deep technical expertise
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and initiatives with competing priorities
  • Demonstrates strong written communication, presentation and time management skills
  • Demonstrates strong cultural awareness skills to work effectively with a virtual team spanning multiple countries/cultures
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) and SharePoint Supervision Responsibilities:
  • Works independently with minimal guidance, prioritizes own deadlines; delegates tasks to others
  • Escalates complex issues with recommendations to project sponsors and/or leadership * May have counseling responsibilities for team members
Other Requirements:
  • Overtime will be required throughout the year and will vary based on volume of work
  • Travel may be required from time to time to complete assignments and meet with organizational leaders and stakeholders
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate multiple time zones as needed Job Requirements:
Education:
  • Bachelor s degree and/or equivalent work experience
Experience:
  • 12-15 years of related work experience
