Job Description

    Prior experience of working with Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences clients will be preferred 7+ years of hands on IT consulting work experience primarily focused on designing ETL andreporting modules, developing and deploying large scale data marts, data warehouses andreporting solutions A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field from a top university is preferred. Should have strong understanding of Cloud technologies and implementation especially AWS Must have experience on designing high performance scalable architecture on Cloud Significant design and implementation experience in Informatica, Business Objects and Oracle. The candidate must have managed AWS Redshift database (knows performance tuning,clustering, data allocation, etc.). In addition to this: Design Redshift based BI solution platform for optimized performance and usability Design data migration strategy from conventional databases to Redshift Monitored and Improved AWS Redshift Cluster Performance. Experience in Redshift Cluster resizing Managed code and deployments Performance tuning of the database Cluster, database objects, SQL queries. Integration with AWS services (S3, Glacier, EMR, EC2). User and Access Management of Redshift Cluster Expertise on Python, Unix scripting would be preferable Fluent in Python libraries for Data Analysis (Pandas, Numpy, etc.) Worked with different types of job dependencies. Knowledge on Crontab or Oozie would be preferable Additional skills: Strong client presence. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing technical concepts toall audiences; Ability to manage a virtual global team environment that contributes to the overall timelydelivery of multiple projects; Experience with analyzing and troubleshooting the interaction between databases,operating systems, and applications; Help with the selling process including writing proposals and giving product demos; Significant supervisory, coaching and hands-on project management skills; Willingness to travel to other global offices as needed to work with client or other internalproject teams.Roles and Responsibilities,
