Associate Director - Enterprise Automation Architect

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and high-performing individual to join our Enterprise Automation COE team as an Automation and Transformation Architect. This technical leadership role is responsible for designing critical automation & transformation approach in consultation with Sun Lifes Business and ES partners, including the holistic alignment of technologies, standards, and practices that enable SLF to deliver world class Next Gen systems. The Automation COE is an evolving group leading SLF in the application of leading-edge solutions against SLF business opportunities.What will you do Youll engage and lead the Automation Strategy engagements with client executives, define optimized automation Enterprise engagements, and roll-up your sleeves and help the project team with complex technical issues.Conceptualize, design, and implement complex business solutions Robotic Process Automation / Intelligent Process Automation across all regions.Expertise in more than one market leading RPA platforms such as Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, PEGA Open Span, UI Path and deep understanding of technology and architecture concepts.Thorough Experience in process documentation and analysis, PDD(Process Description Document), Develop detailed SDD (Solution Design Document) , including specification of system requirements for business processesProvide leadership on the design & end to end solutions, and integration with cloud and on-premises platforms like ERP Solutions SAP, Oracle, Mainframe, custom developed solutions or 3rd party platformsEngage Business Stakeholders on developing strategies and roadmapsResponsible for establishing, refining, and enforcing governance processes, policies. Responsible for reporting related to governance and oversight of the global technology portfolio of projectsExperience in SDLC implementing RPA solutions including methodologies like DevOps, Agile etcDeliver demos, technical trainings, and support for new/existing businessEnable the expansion of the Automation COE Roadmap - Solutions center of excellence, through education support, publication of solution accelerators, and open discussions on data challenges and opportunities.Translate detailed requirements into functional specifications.Provide high level estimates for project proposals and solution designs.Youll mentor, develop, and proactively support practice capabilities including recruiting and development of leadersWhat do you need to succeed As a Senior Automation & Transformation Architect the preferred candidate will have the following:Key QualificationsApproximately 15+ years of build/design experience related to Automation service design, Architect complex Automation RPA/IPA/Pega/ECM Kofax, Rightfax solutions, and leading end to end implementations, preferably 5+ years in a financial services company especially insurance.Excellent documentation skills including technical writing, Visio, PowerPoint, flowcharting (5+ years)5-7+ years experience in development, 3 of which in the capacity of Development and/or Design Lead.Strong Experience with Python, Visual Basic, .NET Framework, Cloud services- including Azure, Google, Cognitive Analytics or Services, including IBM Watson Text Analytics, Tesseract OCR, and Google Image Recognition etc.Hands-on knowledge on DevOps & automation initiatives within the data deliveries.Extremely strong communication, critical thinking, and analytical skills. This includes skills such as conceptual requirements interpretation, solution creation, and problem-solving abilities.Excellent collaboration and leadership skills, a proven ability to adapt to challenges, and a strong interest in coaching and mentoring colleagues.Experience with productionizing services at scale and related change management.Experience with project management and software development life cycle /SDLC; waterfall and agile (5+ years)Major accountability Should be Automation, Transformation, Business and Technical oriented. Build and lead a team of designers and developers for delivery using Agile approach.Set up and provide governance on solution architecture and technology standards.Nice to have Qualification Experience building integrated systems from on-prem to cloud-based infrastructures.Certification on RPA, Pega, ML/AI, AWS, TOGAF, etc. is an added advantageJob Category:IT - Application Development,
