Job Description

    About the opportunityDepartment DescriptionThe Global Background Vetting team sits within the Global HR Shared Services function and works in partnership with Talent Acquisition, HR Support, HR Regulatory Operations, HR Legal and other business groups and provides assistance in the area of pre-employment checks and screening requirements for our employees, suppliers, and partners.Purpose of your roleThe Senior Background Vetting Administrator s role is multifunctional within the Background Vetting team, providing direct support to the Manager with support as and when required to the wider Global BV Team, as well as undertaking projects or tasks as directed by the Manager and/or Senior Background Vetting Manager.Key Responsibilities
    • Assist the India Vetting team to manage and process onboarding clearance for high volumes.
    • Supporting the BV Manager and the Global BV team and Senior BV Manager with case management.
    • Liaison with HR and the Business Stakeholders on specific cases.
    • Audit 5-10% of monthly volume, performing Background Vetting gaps where identified.
    • Assist BV Manager with Supplier liaison for any queries, concerns arising from audits.
    • Undertake ad hoc work as directed by the Senior BV Manager.

    • The role requires liaison with all levels or people, both within the organisation and externally.

    • Flexible and enthusiastic approach and attitude.
    • Software skills will be required, particular skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Good knowledge of Background Vetting practices and local legislations in regards to regulatory and data privacy requirements.
