Job Description

    Job Role:The Brand Manager - Spices will be responsible for developing and managing marketing programs in specific channels, supporting business objectives, leading acquisitions, fostering consumer retention, providing sales support, and advancing brand building.Roles & Responsibilities:- Be all over food/flavor trends and emerging consumer foodie actions, competitive activity in and outside the category to anticipate changes and recommend opportunities for our brands.- Demographic changes in media consumption trends, new platforms to engage the target, and trends in order to anticipate consumers desires for new products.- Guerilla marketing ideas/tactics to drive episodic advancement of our brands. Align and track with annual KPIs- Challenge the status quo and reshape the paradigm- Helps lead the execution of our brand positioning, including all elements of the marketing mix, including but not limited to Brand voice , Product Portfolio, Consumer Messaging, Packaging, Pricing Strategies, Distribution Strategies, etc.- In concert with the Leadership team serves as a strong interface with agency partners working closely on communication strategy and creative output and means to execute.- Business insights and analogs of challenger brands that will allow the company to understand consumer, competitive, and the evolving marketplace landscape, ad/media strategies that will allow us to capitalize on trends more effectively than larger competitors with more resources- Marketing communication to include traditional as well as non-traditional awareness building/advertising, PR, social/digital media, sampling and event activities, and other consumer activation tactics.- B2B engagement and communication plans include PR campaigns, email list management, and digital.- Works with internal commercial/sales organization to develop branding & selling sheets and decks- Committed to communicating, promoting, and supporting the company vision and values, and modeling the expected behaviors- Develop a marketing strategy to meet business growth objectives- Develop a strong understanding of customer behavior and expectations in the Foods/ Spices category.- Developing new categories within the brand along with New Product Development responsibilities, collateral materials for ATL, BTL activities, product mix- Consumer research & insight, proactive approach for new launches & campaigns- Developing brand plans, marketing strategies, communication, promotions and implementation pan India- Working closely with the companys sales team, enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate tools, materials and presentations- Responsible for managing the portfolio team, providing clear guidance and direction in developing and implementing strategic marketing plan- Guiding the day to day activities of the marketing team- Developing annual brand plans in partnership with the sales and insight teams, leading cross-functional innovation teams- Responsible for complete ownership of product category from concept to go to market strategy- Provide detailed business plan of the product/category including contribution per product/product category.Requirements:- Excellent presentation skill and demonstrate ability to solve problems and resolve issues, analyze data, trends and systems and suggest appropriate information and insights.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Excellent teamwork skills, coordination with advertising, media and promotions agency.- Experience in Brand Marketing,
