Job Description

    Short DescriptionDevelopment and active coordination of all deployment phases of HMC s charging infra projects, including construction feasibility diligence, layout and Design, utility design and easement, permitting, construction, power connection, site commissioning, and close out. Drive the CI rollout activities of the assigned region.Key ResponsibilitiesCI Rollout Managing and owning the progression of each construction project from a feasibility study to engineering and permitting and then the installation and commissioning of the stations
    • Create project plan, schedule, site acceptance checklists, & risk management plans
    • Build a firm process to deliver multiple sites per week / with daily charger commissioning each week across the region
    • Own the scope, schedule and budget for your projects and are cognizant of cost implications and able to make recommendations which benefit the bottom line
    • Forecasting, scheduling deployment, and managing all components of highly complex installations
    • Exercise ownership of not just individual sites, but the overall portfolio of projects within your region
    • Develops working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, and ensures vendors adheres to all regulations
    • Ensures that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed
    Internal and external stakeholder management
    • Act as key contact for the vendors and an escalation point for project issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders.
    • Coordinate with Supply Chain Management, and successfully procure required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers
    • Support Supply Chain Management in supplier negotiations, claims and project changes
    • Interface with multiple regional installation, logistics and service companies
    Power Connection
    • Apply and own the complete process of getting the required power connection at the site
    • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for right locations based on impact of power connection availability
    Site validation & Testing
    • Coordinate with Technical CI expert for site validation and testing
    • Get site clearance from all the stakeholders
    Communication
    • Responsible for documentation and governance of the CI rollout activities
    • Providing performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects
    • Conduct regular site checks to monitor progress and quality standards
    Skills Information
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Techno economic skills to evaluate the suppliers/ partners
    • Previous experience in construction management projects and be knowledgeable of regulations and permits required
    • Ability to identify the critical path issues and institute remedies that shorten that critical path.
    EducationB.EB.TECHRelevant Experience
    • >7 yrs
    • PMP certification (Good to have)
    • Experience with Power Distribution/ Utility Electrical products.
    • Comprehensive Industry Knowledge
