  • Project Role :Cloud Operations Engineer
  • Project Role Description :Manage the cloud infrastructure environment through cross technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), execution of scripting and monitoring automations. Manage the environment incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all computer, network, storage, security, or automation incidents /requests.

  • Job Requirements :
      • Key Responsibilities : Backup Management Backups/Recovery jobs Monitoring Software and Hardware Performing Scheduled Backups and On-Demand Backup requests Backup troubleshooting on failures and slowness issue New Server, VM, Agent based backup configuration and removal as per request Performing critical and normal restores as per requests Participating in audits for successful backups and failure backups Backup software upgradation to latest SP or new version
      • Technical Experience : Should have experience on adding/updating storage and schedule policies, troubleshooting on backup failures, managing licensing and capacity usages. Should have knowledge on Data Protector IDB and structure, Data Protector services (Backup Server, Media Server & Client server), Data Protector ports (Current and Previous Versions). Knowledge on Data Protector IDB maintenance and version upgrade Ability to configure file system backup, Oracle, SAP, SAP HANA, MSSQL, Oracle online & offline database backup, SAP online & offline database backup, VM, MAXDB. Should have knowledge to Import Veeam Agent backups, enable and disable Veeam Agent backup jobs, delete Veeam Agent backup jobs Configure and view Veeam Agent backup job statistics Knowledge of removing Veeam Agent backups Knowledge on Veeam Agent backup properties Should have knowledge to configure global settings, assign roles to users
      • Professional Attributes : 1-Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills and ITIL knowledge 2-Ability to analyze and understand complex technical issues 3-Ability to work under pressure stake holder management 4-Good leadership skills Ability to lead a team towards a desired goal
      • Educational Qualification : Graduate/BTech, must have certification any of the primary skill and any Cloud Certifications
