Job Description

We are looking for a talented data scientist to join our growing in-house Sales data science team as we continue to expand our work and deliver on our ambitious targets. You will work closely with a data science team that is developing and deploying machine learning algorithms across the enterprise to support our global sales team.The successful candidate will work closely with our data science team, our global sales teams and senior business stakeholders across the world to understand their needs, and how we can create solutions for them. The role is also the perfect opportunity for someone looking to combine data science and data engineering to expand your knowledge of both areas.As a CSP Data Analyst/Scientist you will be involved in:

  • Working closely as part of the team to design, develop and maintain algorithms.
  • Developing the data engineering to integrate Machine Learning algorithms into our enterprise platforms.
  • Performing data and business analysis on our sales data as well as visualising this data for key business stakeholders.
  • Focusing on the delivery of projects and always keeping yourself up to date with the latest Data Science updates
, Key Skills:
  • A basic knowledge of different ML and AI frameworks and the desire to become an expert
  • Knowledge of a wide range of statistical and analytical techniques including hypothesis formulation and testing.
  • Experience of data quality and data cleansing techniques.
  • Experience with common data science packages and toolkits within Python such as Pandas, NumPy, ScikitLearn
  • Knowledge of visualisation tools PowerBI or Tableau
  • Experience in Database interrogation and analysis tools, such as SQL, Hadoop and SAS.
  • An inquisitive mind.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience working with Azure, AWS or Salesforce is beneficial but not essential.
  • Understanding of Explainable AI & possible implementation options.
  • Knowledge of Git for version control.
Although not essential the following or similar are desired:
  • BSc/ diploma or equivalent in an analytical field (STEM, Computer Science, Physics etc)
  • MSc in Data Science/ Business Analytics preferable
