Job Description

  • Project Role :SW/Application Tech Support Practitioner
  • Project Role Description :Act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. Dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world class systems running. Can accurately define a client issue and can interpret and design a resolution based on deep product knowledge.

  • Must Have Skills :Storage Area Networks (SAN) Architecture and Design
  • Good To Have Skills :Commvault Backup Administration,NetBackup Backup Administration
  • Job Requirements :
      • Key Responsibilities : -Administer entire storage systems -Provide the support for SAN and Unified Storage- includes Storage Health Check-up, Monitoring alerts and take preventive and reactive actions -Oversee IO performance of production along with development of databases LUNs -Conduct bottleneck evaluation to identify performance issues -Work with Storage vendors on break fix issues -Perform Storage firmware upgrades -Capacity Management: Monitoring Storage, Audit logs and take reactive and proactive action
      • Technical Experience : -Strong knowledge in Storage Products HPE 3PAR, HPE Nimble, Brocade SAN Switches, Zoning Concepts Dell Storage Arrays -3-5 years of relevant experience in Storage Domain -Hands-on experience in performing activities related to install, configure and managing SAN devices, Storage Arrays, and fiber switches -Sound knowledge in Backup Technology with solution like Commvault, Avamar, NetBackup is a plus -Good knowledge in ITIL framework on Incident, Problem, Change management Service request mgmt
      • Professional Attributes : -Strong verbal and written communication skills -Ready to work in 24/7 environment
