  • Desktop Support Services
  • Accepts user calls, Logs, and manage calls in the Call Management System
  • Having work experience in Windows Domain Environment
  • Windows platform & Standard applications Skills include knowledge on Windows 7, MS office, Email client (MS Outlook)installation, etc.
  • Escalate to different support groups and Management Teams as per the procedure
  • Basic knowledge of Networking
  • Hardware knowledge of Printers
  • Vendor Management with OEM and follow-up till issue closure
  • Willingness to work in shifts
  • Install desktop/laptop OS (including all pre-defined templates), messaging client, applications as per
  • The requirement, and add or remove accessories, peripherals or mobile devices and configure PCs
  • Check the availability of the desktops periodically using asset discovery tool as defined in Solution Baselines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve desktop incidents
  • Manage disk and folder sharing, and permission settings on desktops.
  • Handle printer problems at users desktops
  • Assist users in accessing applications
  • Plan for updates as per end of support matrix for software OEM
  • Version upgrades (Except for mass activities as mentioned in exclusions)
  • Update of patches on all active assets as required by Pidilite
  • AD policy updation at the end-user level on a need basis
  • First level hardware/software support.
  • First level troubleshooting with remote management tools should be emphasized on.
  • Supporting the desktop Operating Systems, Office Automation like MS Office / Star Office / Lotus Notes,
  • Outlook- Configuration of ERP / Citrix / SAP / BO / Notes clients/ other customized applications.
  • Trouble Shooting on Printer / other peripheral, related issues
  • Installing / upgrading software on the clients
  • Virus Control.
