    Dear Candidate,Greetings of the day!Job Title: EPIDEMIOLOGISTResponsibilities of an epidemiologist in assigned tasks under supervision:Contribute to/lead the conduct of global database studies, including planning study design, data sources andpharmacoepidemiological methodsSupport development of/author scientific documents including protocols, study reports, and other scientificdocuments to ensure completeness and quality of deliverables within estimated timelinesReview and provide relevant epidemiological input to study documentsInteract as an epidemiological expert with internal and external stakeholders under senior guidance and as per projectrequirementsPerform critical literature reviews and provide summaries as neededCo-operate closely with other members in global multi-disciplinary teams, including e.g., senior epidemiologists,project managers, statisticians, and data access expertsContribute to intra- and interdepartmental process improvement initiatives to achieve operational efficiencies ofworkflowsOur ideal candidate would have the following:MPH or MSc or an equivalent degree (PhD preferred) in epidemiology, public health, applied statistics or a closelyrelated scientific discipline, with sound methodological training in epidemiology or related public health area relevantto observational health researchScientific writing experience in the field of observational healthcare researchExceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently, both under supervision and as a contributingteam memberCommitment to working collaboratively and effectively in multi-disciplinary, international teamsExcellent time management skills, contributing to multiple projects with competing timelines, with the ability toeffectively prioritize and manage multiple tasksFluency in English (spoken and written) and strong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent proficiency MS OfficePreferred qualities:Prior related experience within real-world evidence, such as epidemiology or secondary data studiesExperience in designing and executing observational database studies and exposure to working with large real-worldhealthcare databasesClinical experience and understanding of drug therapiesPublications in a peer-reviewed journal and/or abstracts and oral or poster presentations in scientific conferenceswould be meritingExperience in serving in a client-facing role, e.g. in a consultancy, contract research organization (CRO),pharmaceutical/biotech company, or healthcare servicesExperience and knowledge of developments within the industry and major competitorsRegards,HR Team
