Job Description

    JOB DESCRIPTIONApparel Conceptualization & Customer satisfaction
    • Plan and create new designs for the season/special collection/events etc.Convert visual design framework in the form of two-dimensional designs structured into presentations, virtual samples, and sketches.
    • Organize sets of sample designs with diversity in terms of color combinations, fiber compositions, textures, and patterns.
    • Ensure designs are aligned with the current market trends and with the brand philosophy.
    • Ensure precise designs are offered in order to maintain high design success rate.
    • Conduct detailed technical discussion with production staff and quality control team to discuss the feasibility and the practicality of the design. Coordinate and discuss with all the stakeholders involved at each stage of preliminary design creation so that feedback can be incorporated into final design.
    • Develop structured plan with target lead time for completion and approval of each process to ensure timely conversion of design requirements into actual samples.
    • Design and monitor orders for Customized designing as and when required.
    • Monitor the activities of the design team to ensure delivery of designs as per design calendar.
    • Ensure to resolve the grievances/queries of customized buyers within timelines.
    • Timely check on the quality of raw material and ensure it meets the required standards.
    • Ensure seasonal freshness of the collections in tune with Domestic benchmarks and trends to drive brand as an innovative fashion leader.
    • Promote new concepts, designs, systems for product innovation and processes.
    • Research & Planning
    • Monitor and research the existing client base and industry developments and identifies potential new product opportunities which can be easily developed using existing machine software.
    • Ensure the development of new product as per business requirement.
    • Analyse and recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product changes.
    • After alignment with CAD designers, ensure timely conversion of new/customized/modified product requirements to ensure that all the requirements are incorporated and sent further for approval and bulk production.
