Qualifications and Experience: MBA/ B-tech/ degree in statistics from a top-tier school.Requirements:- Having 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience with creating statistical models- MBA/ B-tech/ degree in statistics from a top-tier school. - Experience with common and advanced statistical tools and process large data set- Strong sense of data, analytical skills to measure the behavioral outcome- Enthusiastic to work with an attitude of Its not over till its over Role: - Pricing and planning are core functions of Otipy and are part of the central team. This team is responsible for the most sensitive work defining the whole business proposition and hence needs for a high level of attentiveness. This needs a high sense of responsibility and a passionate approach.- We are looking for a data-driven and super analytical mind who can build a data model to read human behavior and translates it into a data format for the right action. The end objective is to understand consumer behavior and set a high-value proposition for them to transact on the Otipy platform while maintaining the best possible margin for Otipy (selling profitably).- The right candidate should have deep knowledge of statistics and statistical tools. Should be able to identify factors defining price sensitivity and design to capture such data and extract in a meaningful usable form. Should also be able to develop a correlation between complex behavioral data linked with the customer leading to define price-point to transact. The candidate should be a good thinker and should be able to build a meaningful hypothesis around data sets, test for alignment with objectives, and implement.- This profile would also help in data modeling for building a reliable daily demand prediction model/ process.- One must be passionate to solve a puzzle to deliver the best in this role.ResponsibilitiesKey Expectations:- Data Modelling: Should design various data models to define the optimum price point to get the optimum number of consumers to transact on the platform. It must include the below objectives while adding more to the list- Competitive benchmarking- Driving volumes- Customer perception of being the best price- Data collection: design and develop process/ method/ tools to capture all primary and secondary data in the right format- Data Storage: architect to design big data storage- Data visibility: Should design to present data and insights in a meaningful way to manage and clear any doubt around the outcome. It should be easy for management to see the impact and suggest any strategic move- Sensitivity analysis: -All data modeling must have sensitivity inbuilt to measure impacts and can be used for strategic decisions by management.-Will be responsible for every action related to the pricing-Should build complex data like weather, seasonality, festivities as part of the model-Will be responsible for overall marginCompany: A community-based platform series A funded company that helps connect consumers, resellers, and farmers for bringing fresh produce to the doorstep.,
