Monitor a network systems including telecommunications circuits, LAN/WAN systems, routers, switches, firewalls, VoIP systems, servers, storage, backup, operating systems and core applications Collect and review performance reports for systems and report trends in hardware and application performance to assist senior staff to predict future outages or issues Notifies clients and third-party service providers of issues, outages and remediation status Provide timely response to alerts, incidents, and outages. Prioritize items for escalation to appropriate response teams Document all actions according to procedures Perform basic operations tasks and systems testing Identifies and prioritizes incidents according to impact, business requirements, and policy Creates and updates knowledge based articles with technical and service teams
Qualifications: Experience working in high pressure, dynamic, 24/7/365 environments 3-5 years NOC experience A clear understanding of network monitoring protocols (SNMP, NetFlow, WMI, Syslog, etc.) Proven track record for excellence in customer service Knowledge of Windows Server OS Effectively communicates technical issues in clearly understandable English in a non-technical manner and engage with globally distributed team of technically diverse individuals
Educational Requirements: Bachelor s or Master s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Networking Any certifications are a plus *Similar or equivalent disciplines will
