About the opportunity
The Graphic Designer position is responsible for designing graphics and production elements using graphics software for various documentation needs including technical reports, master plans, presentations, marketing materials, and other collateral pieces. The designer leads the graphic design phase for complex deliverables, presentations, or client deliverable efforts, working with technical teams and project managers from across the APACME region.

Create high-end quality work in a fast-pace and process-driven environment, to meet deadlines and client expectations for creativity, quality, and accuracy using Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint/Excel-Charts).
Influence the final product by steering clients toward the best design options.
Evangelize the in-house style, guidelines, and templates to internal partners; seek areas of improvement or need based on brand visual identity.
Maintain a high degree of quality control through self-proofing and adhering to the Jacobs style guide.
Execute new developments / innovation to bring team efficiency upwards.
Project Management
Ensure that all projects are completed at the proper time for each phase of the project timeline and provide timely status updates to clients/peers/studio lead.
Coordinate with clients for approval and signoff on the projects.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while weighing the importance of specific jobs and prioritizing accordingly.
Work with seniors team members and Studio Lead to manage and revise project scope documents, timelines, and processes.
Schedule reviews with peers or Studio Lead to ensure high product output without disruption to timeline.
Client Service and communicate professionally during stressful situations, resolving problems effectively and positively.
Passionately support internal clients in different capabilities, developing and maintaining strong relationships.
Confidently facilitate global communications with internal research teams and design peers to meet business needs.
Maintain up-to-date awareness of our business environment and what is required to be successful.
Risk Management
Foresee issues on projects before they occur and raise risks to appropriate parties.
Mitigate risk on projects by looping in managers and proactively engaging in problem solving.
Other Responsibilities
Identify and elevate any inefficient department processes to studio lead.
Participate in meetings and bring your topic of interests/concerns
Proactively seek and embrace formal and informal feedback, incorporating into everyday work and performance.

Who You Are
Required software skills: Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office
Minimum 8 + years of experience is required
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills is required
Advanced interpersonal and communication (writted and oral) skills are required.
Strong presentation skills are required
Being a self- starter and a strong team player is required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly on the job is required
