Their assortment aims to deliver excellent quality products in fashion, food & grocery and general merchandise at value prices across categories.Description: Strategy Development, Planning and Reporting - Ensure that strong strategic and annual planning processes are in place to produce effective results- Ensuring that all financial and non-financial reporting requirements are met on a timely and regular basisPersonnel management and Leadership: - Building and maintaining a high-performance culture through effective performance management, communication and coaching of staff- Ensure the development and maintenance of equitable personnel policies which are consistent with corporate policies and industry and markets in which the company operates- To ensure that the business code of conduct is in accordance with the laid legislative and regulatory compliances under which the Company operatesOperational Management General operation management: - Strengthen and improve sales flow layout to boost sales and profitability- Maximize customer footfall / conversion and grow add on sales- Ensure consistent high standards of customer service / satisfaction / loyalty / market share.- Ensure high level of Visual Merchandising- Ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the organisation are effectively and efficiently co-ordinate and implemented and conducted within the framework agreed to by the Board- Assist in developing a strategic plan to advance the companys mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organisation- Oversee company operations to insure profitability efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources- Liaise closely with all the departments (Finance, Buying, Stock control, marketing, IT,HR) to maximise sales and return on sales.- Work closely with Manager - Custom regulations in the following:- Ensure quality control of all company output as pertains to customer acquisition and delivery of servicesRelationship Management: - Assist in developing and maintaining effective strategic relationships with key stakeholders including shareholders, contract counter parties, customers, and partners- Represent the company at legislative sessions, committee meetings, and at formal functions- Represent company as official spokesperson for all means of mass communicationProfile : - Excellent Leadership skills- Relationship Management- Problem Solving and Analysis- Strategy Formulation- Understanding of Profit & Loss statements.- Strong written and verbal Communication Skills- Strong Understanding of Business, Government, and Industry Processes and legal frameworkJob Offer : The growth into a senior role if the business grows as per expectationsOpportunity to be part of the organisation at its most peak periodTo apply online please click the Apply button below.
