Job Description

Health, Safety & Wellness Manager To hire an energetic and professional Health, Safety and Wellness (HSW) Manager to lead Occupational Health & Safety and Wellness across offices in the Asia region.Scope of Accountabilities:

  • Main purpose to create, develop, and drive safety, health and wellness programs to improve the health and wellness of team members
  • Identify team members needs and design corporate approach to wellbeing initiatives;
  • Lead and implement wellness program across offices, to drive team member participation to promote work life balance and create a safe environment to sustain good physical/mental health.
  • Conduct high quality site inspection and risk assessments. Identify any risk in operations and recommend solutions to stakeholders. Implement strategies and methodologies to create a safe working environment.
  • Develop policies, guidelines and processes to address health, safety, security and wellness for team members, taking into consideration market best practice and local regulation.
  • Create communication plan with regular newsletters and updates on health, safety and wellness to increase awareness among a diverse culture
  • Manage EAP and other Health Benefit service providers including selection, contracting and renewal process to ensure their scope of services fit our purpose and negotiate for the best price
  • Evaluate existing vendor performance and to measure the success of the benefits/ programs to demonstrate outcomes on investment
  • Partner with Zero Risk, to put in place safety protocol for business travel to high risk countries.
  • Build a good relationship with external parties such as building management office, security and third-party manpower supplier
Team member requirement:
  • Bachelor degree in Occupational Safety and Health (Human Resources or related disciplines can be considered with substantial experience in OS&H)
  • At least 10-12 years relevant experience in managing corporate OS&H in corporations across Asia, including experience in delivering wellness initiatives.
  • Understand best practices in OS&H, general health and well-being current trend in the marketplace
  • Demonstrated strength in problem solving with process-improvement mindset
  • Excellent consultative skills
  • Able to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization
  • Strong English written and oral communication skills
  • Solid negotiation skills to work with vendor
  • Self-motivated, results orientated and ability to execute on goals
