Implementation Services DirectorDepartment overview:MarkitSERV provides an end-to-end solution for post-trade transaction management of credit, interest rate, equity and foreign exchange derivatives. MarkitSERV also connects dealers and buy-side institutions to central clearing counterparties, trade repositories, and electronic swap markets.MarkitSERV Operations provides operational day-to-day customer support for all services supported within the MarkitSERV suite of products. The group works closely with Product Management, Client Account Management, Business Development and IT to ensure timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries. The group is also responsible for incident reporting and escalation. MarkitSERV combines the flagship electronic trade confirmation, position reconciliation and related workflow platforms from its parent companies to provide a single gateway for over-the-counter (OTC) derivative transaction processing globally. Our combined solution helps to reduce operational risk, streamline processing and improve the safety and certainty of the OTC derivatives markets by simplifying and automating trade processing across the major asset classes.Position summaryWe are looking for self-driven individuals with great problem solving and analytical skills to fill manager position within the Client Services / Implementation Services group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day customer support for all services supported within MarkitSERV s suite of products.Duties & accountabilities

• Management of 10 to 15 associates. Perform regular one to ones and career management guidance for direct reports
• Build a good understanding of all MarkitSERV platforms and be the point of escalation for external clients
• Good understanding of due diligence activities / KYC checks such as OFAC, compliance review, legal approvals for on-boarding of new clients.
• Onboarding new participants in a timely manner and effective implementation of the product. Assist clients in testing the tradeflows and help troubleshoot issues faced by the client.
• Configure the product as per clients requirement with regards to trade confirmation.
• Ensure high productivity and quality standards are maintained within the team.
• Act as a relationship point for client and internal business partners for work done by the Gurgaon group
• Work closely with internal stakeholders like sales, account management, change management and product team to manage book of work.
• Participate in various internal project for system enhancements and external projects deliveries.
• Liaise with local and global management teams focussing on the process and client service delivery
• Drive continual improvement of the client service process and strive for world class client experience
• Assist clients with clearing and regulatory reporting of OTC derivative trades

Business competenciesEducation and experience

• University graduate preferred
• Minimum 12 years financial services experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge can be acquired
• Previous management experience is essential
• Expert level knowledge in financial markets and OTC Derivatives.

• Knowledge of KYC/AML process will be advantageous

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Ability to work in fast paced environment with client orientation
• Support wider client / operations efforts
• Identify opportunbities to drive change in business and client service process to identify possible risks

Management requirements

• The role will require day to day management of staff within the client service team. As such previous management experience is essential.
• Should be open to work in shifts
