Job Description

    The Retail Operations team is responsible for all Operations and Transaction Processing for the UK business and is spread across three locations: Gurgaon, Noida and UK. This team is further sub-divided into various teams to support various Operational areas like New Accounts, Broker Services, Dealing, Deal Corrections, Rereg & Transfers and Controls Group.The WI Operations team is responsible for the UK Defined Contribution Pension clients instruction processing and back-end customer servicing. This team is also based out of Gurgaon, Noida and UK.These departments are supported by specialist teams like Banking & Reconciliation, Management Info and Operations Technical and Platform Support.The Training function will help develop associates, senior associates, leads and Managers using feedback from Quality reviews, Technical Support teams and both Compliance and internal audits. They will collaborate with management to analyse current trends and feedback from appraisals to help design interventions that bridge any knowledge or skills gaps. Training will also proactively conduct skills and competency reviews to establish if there are any opportunities for development and leverage or build collateral to improve skills gaps.You will be expected to develop and maintain a very high level of personal understanding of regulation.Key Responsibilities
    • To schedule and deliverInduction Training programmes for Retail and Workplace new starters as per predefined timelines.Ongoing core skills training and other refresher trainingSoft skills training including Culture and BehavioursFacilitate regulatory and compliance driven initiativesProduct and Project related training within Retail and Pension Operations
    • Research, direct and recommend continuous improvements to new and existing delivery to ensure full business benefits are realised based on alignment with business plans, delegate feedback, effective reviews of MI and evaluation (including business impact assessments)
    • Identifying trends and reporting them to the Management / working with the Management to feed the trends back to the team members.
    • Ensure all training is delivered in a professional and compliant manner and work with Client Service teams to ensure delivery consistent with approaches
    • Influence quality and productivity improvements through involvement in the development of new and improved procedures, process innovations, training, and changes in culture
    • Drive and support the business to further embed a self service culture for learning using digital content wherever possible
    • To schedule training sessions including sending training invites, issuing pre-course material / instructions to the participants; also recording feedback and sharing analysis with Line Manager
    • To create, maintain and publish the training calendar and facilitate sessions on it
    • To maintain and communicate management information relating to training courses scheduled / delivered / attended
    • To administer the execution and evaluation of the post training examinations
    Skills RequiredTechnical
    • Graduate in any discipline
    • 3 years experience in design and delivery of workshops - technical and non-technical
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Train-the-Trainer certified (preferred) or proven experience in Training delivery
    • Has the ability to guide/train other team members on mutual funds and the investment products the role holder supports.
    • Has the ability to guide/train staff on Fidelitys services and products, Industry knowledge and competitors and how they impact the customer.
    • Identify and explain the dependencies between various teams and can understand the links/impact of their process on other teams.
    • Should be able to explain basic L&D concepts and should have had done LMS management and digital learning curation in the past
    Essential Skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English - IELTS band 9)
    • Experience in Learning management; ability to speak the learners language and relate to the audience/ training delegates
    • Experience in managing the expectations of senior stakeholders
    • Able to cope with sustained pressure, ability to embrace change and adapt quickly; ability to think on his/her feet
    • Shows attention to detail and an appetite to learn and enrich self for the purpose of dispensing that knowledge
    • Have the ability to guide and train others in Risk, control functions and regulatory aspect of the process.
    • Able to analyse data confidently to identify trends and potential areas for concern
    • Build on team engagement and provide support to the team when needed.
    • Identify and can explain the 7 principles of customer service (for internal applicants only)
