Job Description

    Logistics Manager/Purchase ManagerJob descriptionRoles & Responsibilities:1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with overall business goals.2. Supplier Management: Identify and manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.3. Inventory Control: Optimize inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.4. Logistics Management: Coordinate transportation, distribution, and warehousing activities to ensure efficient movement of goods.5. Demand Forecasting: Analyze market trends and customer demand to forecast future requirements and optimize inventory levels.6. Freight forwarders: Identify Freight forwarders and Negotiate rates.7. Customs Clearance: Work closely with Customs clearing agents and provide necessary documents for smooth and timely Customs clearance.8. MIS Reports : Prepare Budget, Annual, quarterly, and monthly reports of Procurement.9. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.10.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain.11.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, sales, and finance, to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives.12.Technology Integration: Utilize and implement technology, such as ERP systems, to enhance visibility, tracking, and communication within the supply chain.13.Compliance: Stay updated on relevant regulations and ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.14.Cost Management: Monitor and control costs associated with procurement, transportation, and inventory, striving for cost-effectiveness.15.Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on supply chain performance and addressing any issues promptly.16.Continuous Learning: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to adapt and improve supply chain strategies.If interested, Please share your updated CV - hidden_email / can call on 78hidden_mobile3
