Job Description

    Manager, Deal Operations CenterIn this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate reporting of Bookings with adherence to the Bookings Policy along with managing strategic projects which will improve the bookings validation process. You will operate as an expert on the Bookings Policy and will front end discussions with Sales and Finance on policy matters, validate deal contract value and margin, ensure accuracy of recognition of bookings vs. renewals etc. You will work with colleagues in Sales, Finance, Operations, Compliance and other related teams. Your role will report into the Reporting & Analytics unit in the Growth Operations function. Responsibilities Deal Operations Center team member will be responsible for ensuring accuracy of Bookings report out. All deals signed by Genpact would need validation/ sign off by the Deal Operations team, based on the company Bookings Policy. As a part of your responsibilities, you would:
    1. Perform accuracy checks on deals, before closure on Sales Force.
    2. Provide guidance to Sales, Finance and ICON teams on policy related queries
    3. Provide insights on scope of Policy improvement/ re-draft of various sections of the Policy document
    4. Envision and drive strategic improvement projects for the bookings validation process partnering with the sales/finance and technical teams
    You will work with Genpact colleagues in Sales, Finance, Operations and Compliance to develop/ cascade the right level of understanding on the Bookings Policy, incorporate inputs/ changes in the policy. Skills and Experience We are looking for candidates who have experience in:
    • the Business Finance, Sales/ Sales support or Audit/ Compliance domains
    • Understanding of BPO/transformation services commercial models & pricing would be a big advantage
    • Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and demands.
    • Financially literate: with an understanding of Bookings/ Revenue, profit and loss.
    • Articulate and effective communicator. Highly proficient in written and oral business communication to senior colleagues and clients.
    • Ability to establish credible relationships with Sales/ Finance colleagues within a matrix organisational environment.
    • Excellent planning and organisational skills. Strong attention to detail, driven, well-organised, flexible.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
    Qualifications Minimum qualifications
    • Professional degree from a credible university in Business Administration or Finance.
    • Minimum years of relevant postgraduate business experience.
    • Strong track record of performance and delivery in complex international working environments.
