Key Responsibilities:Detail Engineering: o Preparing plan for detailed site/ track/ topographical surveys o Undertaking P Way 3D alignment designs for Feasibility, Concept, Detailed, and Construction phases of a design project o Study and review of horizontal and vertical alignment of track o Study and review of turnout layout with a cross-section showing super-elevation o Preparation/ review of Ballast less/ Ballasted track design o Liaise with client and be capable of discussing design/ technical solutions o Delegating work to team members, design planning, and monitoring progress o Collection of site data by site visit o Knowledge in high embankment designsPre-Bid Design: o Study of tender documents and prepare technical queries. o Working out quantities for earthwork, subgrade, blanketing in formation, and track works for the tender estimate. o Working out quantities of civil works related to bridges, approaches, embankments, drainage o Identification of risks and opportunitiesSkills and Experience: o Understanding of track(Ballast less and Ballasted) and civils work o Good knowledge and understanding of track standards, processes and procedures. o Expertise and experience in all aspects of permanent way design and the delivery of multi-disciplinary railway projects o Well conversant with Optimisation and Value Engineering ideas and Techniques o Preferred - Knowledge of Microstation and Bentley Rail Track (BRT) design, working within a BIM environment and ensuring procedural compliance o Excellent client interface and communication skills o A willingness to work flexibly to deliver projects to time and budget o Shall be an advocate of and embraces Digital Innovation,
