Job Description

    Inviting applications for the role of Manager, US statutory reporting In this role, you will be responsible Preparation/Review of Yellow Book Financials as per NAIC Guidelines quarterly and annually Understanding and analyzing financial statements from quarterly/ annual reports and filings to come out with logical interpretations and trends Contributes to financial close cycles, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations and preparation of information needed for GAAP and Statutory reporting requirements Build effective controls in the reporting processes to ensure accuracy of the financials and other supplements filings Analyzes results of studies, reports, analyses. Prepares complex reports/analyses including analysis on balance sheets, income statements, annual/quarterly reports Process improvements and Streamlining to drive efficiencies and effectiveness Preparation/Review of other Regulatory Reporting, Board packs, Management Packs, and other Internal Reports, G2S, Cash Flow, Part III (Loss Development) Coordinates, conducts reviews and/or documents and efforts involving financial close processes, analysis, GAAP and Statutory reporting requirements, ad hoc requests, research and special projects. Coaching & Guiding junior resources in the team Proactive and self-motivated Client Communication and Client handling Problem SolvingType of Experience: Hands on experience in US Insurance STAT reporting process is desirable Should have sound knowledge of US GAAP. Strong customer service focus and willingness to respond to queries and provide deliverables within prompt timeframes Highly self-motivated and demonstrating excellent problem solving abilities Experience of front ending with customer, issue escalation Good experience with ERP - Preferably Oracle Essbase ; IT savvy & Understands interface processes with accounting ledger Regulatory Reporting exposure as per NAIC guidelines Good knowledge of Microsoft office. (PowerPoint) and advance Excel (V lookup, H lookup and Pivot) 6-10 years of Financial/Statutory ReportingQualifications Minimum qualifications CA/CA (Inter)/B.Com/ M.Com/ MBA/PGDBM Preferred qualifications Preferred with US statutory reporting experience of Insurance entity (P&C) but training can be provided to the suitable candidate CA (Inter)/B.Com/M.com/MBA/CA,
