Job Description

    Position Title : Sr. MiddlewareDescription of Services to be provided :Job descriptions :This candidate will be part of the Data Management Services Team, responsible for full infrastructure support of the Enterprise Service Bus on distributed platforms.Requirements :- Knowledge of Software AG ESB products including Integration server, UM, My WebMethods, Centrasite, API gateway, Insight and adaptors on Wintel platforms,- Knowledge of distributed computing.- Basic knowledge of Java, JMS, SQL and Windows scripting.- Basic knowledge of WebMethods development coding and deployment.- Basic knowledge of network, XML, WSDL, TCP/IP.- Knowledge Optimize for Infrastructure is an asset.- Knowledge of mainframe z/OS, IMS, CICS is an asset.- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication and high team spirit are essentials.- Candidate must work well in a fast-paced, changing environment and be able to manage multiple tasks, projects, and initiatives all with different priorities at the same time- Candidate must possess a genuine desire to provide service excellence to our I/T customers- Candidate must possess good communication skills.- Must demonstrate proven ability to analyze problems, propose solutions, and drive issues to resolution.- Must be results oriented and willing to take responsibility.- Must be a team player.Main accountabilities:- Work with application developers to optimize the use of ESB products and trouble-shoot problems related to the products.- Install/configure/administer/architect ESB IS, UM, MWS, adaptors, and tools. Responsible for maintaining supportability of the software by carrying out regular upgrades according to established patch strategy.- Monitor and tune infrastructure to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.- Provide support for Disaster Recovery as required.- Ensure new application designs fit into the established infrastructure and that operational controls are part of the initial design.- Conform and enforce established standards, guidelines, and procedures for the middleware products.- Adhere to Sun Life policies and strategies; and implement security in compliance with the SOX and audit requirements.- Initiate and deliver R & D efforts to evaluate new releases and fixes to existing technology and alternatives that could provide enhanced capabilities and value.- Commit to timely delivery of milestones.- Commit to timely response to major incidents and resolve issues within SLA.- Develop and maintain technical documentation for sharing of knowledge.,
