Job Description

    • Mold design engineers are responsible for the creation of molds used in the manufacturing process. They work with a variety of materials to create molds that can be used to produce a wide range of products, from plastic toys to automobile parts.Mold design engineers must have an extensive knowledge of engineering principles and practices. They use this knowledge to design molds that will effectively produce the desired product while also being cost-effective and efficient.
    • Mold designer will train and learn under senior designer for comprehensive understanding of our entire mold design process.
    • Fully design the mold for manufacturing.
    • Manage design related issues throughout the build process.
    • Mold designer will identify any customer part issues that may cause molding issues and relay them to sales and/or customer service team with a proposed solution.
    • Mold designer will prepare prints for all components with proper dimensions needed and distribute them to the appropriate department for manufacturing.
    • CANDIDATE MUST BE FROM PLASTIC INDUSTRY .GOOD KNOWLEDGE OF PART AND MOULD DESIGN IN NX SOFTWARE
    • Knowledge of the entire mold design process.
      • Working with customers to determine needs and requirements, such as material specifications, product details, and production schedules
      • Creating computer models of products that can be used to produce molds for casting metals or plastics
      • Designing molds that can produce a high volume of products while minimizing material usage and production times
      • Reviewing blueprints, drawings, or other design specifications to determine how to translate them into molds
      • Analyzing materials to determine their suitability for mold construction, such as porosity or thermal conductivity
      • Determining the type of material needed to create the mold and calculating its size and shape
      • Designing molds using computer software programs, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
