Come, transform with us.Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager/Management Trainee/Domain Trainee (Linguist), Underwriting Operations (P&C)In this role, youll be responsible for managing teams and service level targets role for P&C Insurance Operations Business. Facilitating goal-level creation for the team in line with Business goals and works with team to ensure the goals are cascade to all associates.ResponsibilitiesManage teams of 5-10 and service level targets. Providing guidance to direct reports. Monitor, analyses and report on trends in the key underwriting performance drivers. Leading weekly/monthly/quarterly discussions on operations with client UW and company stakeholders. Understanding of risks faced by the function and the controls in place to manage and mitigate the risks Ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area Ability to function effectively in a team environment exercising good judgment Working with senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning Guiding the talent identification and development processes for a function. Root Cause Analysis on escalations received Very good problem solving skills & attention to detail. Ability to accurately interpret and compile information from a variety of sources and systems Ability to function effectively in a team environment exercising good judgment Ability to meet outlined and expected standards of timeliness and accuracy in completion of workSkills: Proficiency B2 German/French for Band 4B (Assistant Manager) and Proficiency B1 German/French for Band 4A (Management Trainee/Domain Trainee) Ability to own report development effort with minimal supervision Problem solving; data related trouble-shooting such as identifying reconciliation variances, or determining cause of data anomalies Intermediate skills in MS Excel Be able to prioritize based on due dates and task demands Qualifications Any Graduate, with UW team leading span of experience for 50-70+ UW team as minimum B1/B2 proficiency in French / German language Fluent in English language - both Written and Oral Communication - Good Written and spoken Communication Skills Good knowledge of MS Office specifically MS Excel Experience: Experience in insurance/back office operations handling French / German processes Candidate with P&C insurance knowledge will be preferred Genpact is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion or belief, sex, age, national origin, citizenship status, marital status, military/veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental disability or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.
