Job Description

    An AWS Technology Manager will be responsible for managing the organizations cloud computing architecture along with leading and managing the solution development team. He/she will be expected to train the team of professional developers of the organization or the businesses and make architectural recommendations for implementation and deployment of the application on AWS and at the same time derive advanced cloud-based solutions and migrate existing ones to the cloud. The individual may also have to look after programming, testing, and integration of software systems and devices. He/she will have to use processes that usually involve the selection of technology that is suitable for a problem and hence maintain a balance between enterprise concerns and architectural concerns. Job Responsibilities : - Understanding the needs of the company and the business processes for defining system specifications- Identify the customer requirements, analyze the alternatives, and conduct product recommendations related to the platform, software, and network configurations- Decide on the framework of tech stack to be used for creation of a solution to the business problem- Planning and designing the technology solution structure- Decide on the design and feel of the software and the way different modules can interact together to ensure the production time is shortened- Collaborate with the IT development team for ensuring suitable translation of architectural solution into robust and effective implementation- Evaluate and choose suitable hardware or software and suggesting methods for integration- Provide assistance when technical problems arise and offer suggestions timely- Monitor systems to make sure they meet business goals as well as user requirements- Decide on system maintenance and future scaling as required.- Determine the associated risks with software products, frameworks, or third-party platforms Qualification & Required Skills : - Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field. Masters preferred.- Knowledge in the automotive industry, is preferred- Hands-on relevant experience of at least 6 years- At least 5 years of experience in AWS Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS)- Hands-on experience with the Cloud based infrastructure : AWS, AWS IoT, Redshift, AWS Java, EC2, ELB, IAM, S3, Cloud Watch, Storage Gateway, Cloud formation etc.- Have knowledge and experience of DBMS (No SQL, POSTGRES, Oracle) and other developer tools like : Code, Deploy, CodeBuild.- Experience with event-driven architectures and RESTful API design- Have hands-on experience of DevOps tools.- Need to have a balance of both Business and Technical Skill sets- Excellent Leadership and Managerial skills- Knowledge of Big Data Technologies and other emerging technology stacks is an advantage.- Should be flexible and eager to learn and explore new technologies- Ability to think on the feet and take strong decisions- Analytical frame of mind with good problem-solving abilities- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills- Ability to multi-task in an organized manner,
