Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers. This job may include any aspect of field support, and is not limited to system hardware and software, PCs, and networking/wireless networking. Survey Tip: This job provides customer support. If employee is primarily responsible for applications/systems engineering, match to the appropriate applications/systems engineering position in the Global Sales Survey.Key ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot issues on Live production systems with usage of tracing/analysis tools. Should be fully process driven and should show keen interest in SLAs, KPIs and customer success.Responds to situations where first-line product support has failed to isolate or fix problems in malfunctioning equipment or software. Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.Customer installation and training. Provides support to customer/users where the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature.Job RequirementsShould have extensive experience in IMS network products like I/S CSCF, TAS, SBC, IPSMGW, RCS/RMS, HSS.Experience on IMS core network and Ap plication Servers is a must.Hands-on experience on Virtualized node installation/deployment (VMs).
