Project Manager Finance & Accounting TransitionsWhat this job involves:Providing a roadmap for successLeading the project team and key stakeholders, you ll deliver the objectives for every project assigned to you and enforce established governance processes that help everyone get to the finish line and achieve the success criteria set out at the beginning of the project, such as adherence to timeline, budget and scope.You will oversee the Transition plan and governance framework and ensure that standard project artefacts are produced and accessible to the project team, such as: project charter, project plan, risk register, etc. These artefacts will clearly define and document the Transition approach, scope, milestones, success criteria, deliverables, risks, dependencies and contingencies.On a weekly basis, you ll engage with key stakeholders to review the progress of a project. Creating project monthly and weekly status reports as well as other standard reports to various stakeholder groups is also on you. In the case of exceptions and remediations, you ll need to report them, identify root cause and build mitigation plans, as necessary.Stakeholder ManagementExperienced with all levels of stakeholder management, you ll interact with key stakeholders on the project team to ensure that the team is always informed on progress of the project. These updates will occur through weekly project connects, Steering Committee updates and other formats agreed with the team. You will be proactive in monitoring and addressing escalations, issues and risks and will demonstrate professionalism and good judgment on when and who to engage for assistance on escalation management.Sound like you Our successful Project Managers

• Have 7-10 years leading projects in diverse blue-chip organizations, preferably Shared Services global operations and transformational environments
• Have experience of managing end-to-end F&A Transitions or Transition of other global business processes
• Are Independent workers who understand when and how to ask for help
• Have experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Are PMP or Prince2 certified (preferred)
• Have organizational Change Management skills (PROSCI or other certification preferred)
• Have experience with project management tools such as Workfront, MS Project, Smartsheet
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of Windows-based business computers and Microsoft Office programs; specifically, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
• Have experience with due diligence activities, requirements gathering, process mapping and process mapping tools such as Blueworks and solution design activities related to project scoping

You also have a verifiable certification that demonstrates your commitment to a PM career. The top notch project management skills you should demonstrate include: the ability to organize, prioritize and control project delivery responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities; ability to manage multiple projects in a cross functional environment with agility, and a strong ability to understand the strategic big picture and execute on the tactical to achieve strategic goals.An F&A Subject Matter ExpertYou re an F&A subject matter expert in key business processes related to F&A e.g. R2R, P2P, O2C, etc. through previous experience either within F&A operations and/or F&A project and program management. It s best if this expertise has been derived in conjunction with Transformation initiatives. You re also able to demonstrate flexibility in application of this knowledge which may include elements of process view, solution design, requirements gathering and recommendations.An excellent communicatorWe achieve our biggest success when working together, so clear communication is key, as is collaboration and teamwork.
