Together, we lead and leave a positive impact on societies, companies and people around the world.You will join our new Project ManagementteamAs our new REC Project Manager, you will assume responsibility in assisting with the day to day management of project activity throughout the project lifecycle and in line with Ramboll s Project Excellence Lifecycle (our Project Management system), working closely together with the UK PM Transport team to successfully deliver projects. You will also be the first appointment in the new REC Project Management team which forms part of the UK Project Management Transport team, with the vision of growing the REC arm of the team alongside you.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be

• Assist in the delivery of projects from inception to completion ensuring scope, contracts, budgets and QA procedures are all in place and maintained throughout the project lifecycle
• Preparing and distributing Monthly Reports, meeting minutes, helping prepare and deliver (MS PowerPoint) presentations as and when required
• Taking ownership of project control tasks and setting up and owning project reporting systems
• Interfacing with the internal Planning team as necessary for the production/updating of programmes on larger projects.
• Helping to ensure that fees/costs are prepared on time and correctly submitted to the Client with all necessary supporting information
• Assisting in management of change control process, forecasting and capturing costs associated with this
• Working with bid teams to ensure preparation of proposals for multi-disciplinary tenders

• BE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from an institute of repute.
• Should have 3-6 years of experience in Project Management, tendering, procurement, contracts.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills
• Preferably HNC/HND in a Building/ Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Preferably experience in a project management role in the construction industry within a multidisciplinary engineering design consultancy
• Knowledge of construction and the design processes
• Preferably Knowledge of health and safety legislation, including CDM Regulations
• Preferably An understanding of various types of procurement methods and contract administration requirements including NEC3 and NEC4
• Have technical / functional acumen, he should have good communication skills and should be able to present their work.
• Should be a good team member, self-motivated, able to work on own initiatives and should coordinate with other team members and the project manager for timely delivery of project
• Good communication skills (English language skills in written and verbal) and the ability to work within a small team whilst having a dedicated approach to working within and meeting strict deadlines
• Excellent communicator who is highly organized and able to prioritize. Ability to collaborate and build relationships across the wider teams.
