Job Description

New Vendor development.
Maintain stock record and update every week.
Should have exposure in Large Integrated Iron and steel Plant.
Should have knowledge in all types of steel and drawing based items.
Well experienced from iron & steel industry.
Purchase of Raw material like iron MS scrap
Administered vendor development & evaluated the requirement of materials at various sites.
Should have good negotiation skills.
Procurement of all spares Imported and Domestic Steel Plant Equipments.
Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
Sourcing of new vendor and obtaining quotes
Coordinate with account department for timely payment to vendors according to negotiated terms
Obtaining quotes for transportation and also making cost comparisons
Maintaining and update all purchasing and Process reports
Follow Up with Suppliers for Timely Delivery of Material.
Controlling purchase department budget
