Job Description

    *Enterprise Financial Reporting is the go-to-team within finance Operations to provide financial Reporting tools & Solutions for the entire finance community at AXA XL. The reporting tools developed by this team consume data from the EFA (Enterprise Finance Architecture), where data from transactional source systems is conformed and transformed into financial data that is written to our Ledger. We make financial data accessible through a suite of 1st class, flexible and intuitive self-service tools, such as OBIEE, Qlikview and Cubes DISCOVER your opportunity What will your essential responsibilities include
    • Reporting Application Development, Management and Maintenance
    • Functional interpretation, maintenance of data, data accuracy, performing and reporting and data integrity checks
    • Root Cause analysis of data errors and resolution specific to critical internal and external data
    • Ensure data in reporting tools maintained to highest standards
    • Expand working knowledge of insurance domain and product expertise across multiple regions to support global expansion across various functions.
    • Review data processes to ensure data quality, consistency and timeliness. Provide analysis and integrated solutions to eliminate reoccurring data issues
    • Ownership of requirement gathering, data modelling, dashboarding & business insights to better understand customer experience & operational effectiveness and allow end users to self-serve for additional insights
    • Help setup and enhance the processes that may be required to ensure smooth delivery of Financial Reporting Solutions as well as to mature the practices within the teams
    • Participate in calls to identify and address issues in a timely manner to meet stakeholder s expectations
    • Stay abreast of changes to business rules, workflows, and tools that affect Customer experience org & make appropriate changes to be in sync
    You will report to (Manager s Title)., * SHARE your talent We re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
    • University Graduate/Post Graduate with 12-15 years of experience with 8-10 years of experience in data visualization tools like (Qliksense, Qlikview and Power BI)
    • Must have managed a team of 2 or more Data Analysts.
    • Experience with various database types (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, Access, etc ) and various data modeling activities
    • Sound knowledge of Banking and Financial Services specially Insurance
    • Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages and packages: Python (Sci-kit Learn, NumPy, pandas, Tensorflow, Keras), R, MATLAB, SQL
    • Experience with communication and analytical tools, such as MS PowerPoint, MS Excel; experience with web analytics preferred but not required.
    • Experience of MS Power Platform solutions Power Apps, Power Automate & Power Virtual Agents and any of the data integration tools
    • Mental flexibility to creatively extract actionable insights from massive, highly sophisticated, multi-dimensional datasets while ensuring data quality.
    • High energy, good work ethic, willingness to do whatever it takes to get to the results.
    • Comfort with ambiguity & ability to influence others and gain acceptance for your ideas
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and root cause analysis
    • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
    • Strong Analytical skills
