Job Description

Job TitleRTR Specialist Job DescriptionMain purpose of the role: Secures an accurate accounting and reconciled balance sheet within corporate deadlines for Signify both for IFRS and Statutory books, and coordinates with Infosys to ensure that bookings / accounting is accurately and timely maintained and verifies compliance with accounting standards and regulations (PAP, IFRS, local regulations). As a member of the R2R team of Growth markets , the role will perform Month End Close and related accounting activities for markets of whole of Asia and Africa and resolve queries of auditors and other stakeholders.Reporting Relationship: Job holder will be part of R2R domain of Accounting Operations and report to RtR lead of FSC India.What you ll do

  • Ensure accurate preparation of Statutory Financials
  • Ensure accurate and timely statutory filings with a high quality of reporting with no fines or penalties
  • Ensure adequate control over statutory process as reflected in ICS Controls
  • Manage Statutory and Periodic Internal Audits
  • Ability to translate IFRS/GAAP to Local GAAP via statutory adjustments
  • Provide accurate, completed & timely data for statutory reporting, fiscal reporting and other requirements
  • Be the first contact point for external auditors
  • Fulfill requests from regulatory & tax authorities and provide support during fiscal audits
  • Co-ordinate with FSC, Tax Group, MTM , CTM on any other statutory accounting related activities
  • Support Financial Controller in ensuring Internal Controls in the market
  • What you ll need
  • Chartered Accountant with 4-8 years of relevant experience
  • Skills/Competencies:
    • Progressive work experience in statutory and IFRS accounting, completing all components of reporting for local legal entities
    • Experience researching and resolving complex accounting issues.
    • Handling External and Internal audit on IFRS/IGAAP, Statutory Laws and Direct/Indirect tax
    • RTR Processes including Trial balance review, consolidation and correction of financial statements
