Job Description

    The Finance Technology function provides systems development, implementation and support services for FIL s Finance Team. We support several functions spanning across Business Finance & Management Accounting, Financial Accounting & Analytics, Taxation, Global Procurement, Corporate Treasury, and several other teams in all of FIL s international locations, including UK, Japan, China and India.We provide IT services to the Fidelity International businesses, globally. These include development and support of business functions that underpin our financial accounting and decision making for global CFO Orgs, and we implement multiple systems including ERP platforms, home grown apps and third party products. We are system providers to key process lifecycles such as Procure to Pay (P2P/Global Procurement), Record to Report (R2R), Order to Cash (O2C), Acquire to Retire (A2R). We also manage systems to enable cash management, forex trading and treasury operations across the Globe. We own warehouses that consolidate data from across the organisations functions to provide meaningful insights.Purpose of your roleThis vacancy is for a highly motivated Senior Business Analyst in a crossfunctional product team to facilitate delivery of projects, technology change initiatives in Global Procurement area and provide production support.The candidate should have a functional configurator mindset who understands the architecture landscape, systems involved and the integration points, and is looking to expand one s horizon towards supporting and performing product configuration of ERP cloud based application. The candidate will be required to work as a product expert of the system who works as part of the technology team to perform functional configuration support on primary basis. The right candidate must be able to understand the domain, the products, work with business day to day to facilitate requirements, query and analyse data and work as part of technology team in implementing and delivering the solutions.He/she is someone that balances client service skills with technical competency to assist clients on service requests and incidents (via calls, self-service tickets, chats and e-mails). The candidate should have worked on medium scale projects and programs in past and hence will be able to add value to the overall program.Key Responsibilities
    • Expertise in P2P domain which includes Supplier Risk Assessment and Onboarding, Procurement, Account Payables, Travel and Expense Management, Procurement Contracts & Sourcing.
    • P2P functional implementation experience including Configurations, Interfaces & RICE objects with other legacy applications.
    • Keen to learn and implement new technologies in the procurement space, build excellent business connect, influence and negotiate between tech and business.
    • Capture & clarification of business requirements through a range of analysis techniques for the Business (data flow diagrams, case tool analysis, gap analysis and work & process flow diagrams)
    • Function as a techno-functional resource and assist in designing solutions for business.
    • Support issues in functional configurations of the application and perform configurations wherever necessary.
    • Manage incidents and service requests reported via service portals and e-mails:
      • Recording, classifying and maintaining the integrity of data within the incident and service request recording system, Service-Now.
      • Assessing the impact and risk of incidents and timely escalation.
      • Handling customer queries and resolving incidents which are within the scope of service desk.
      • Monitoring, tracking and reviewing the progress of an incident, and keeping the customer informed
    • Understand the business data in depth, analyse key performance indicators and use the same to analyse the requirements further
    • Provide management information and reports on IT service support trend.
    • Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
    • Ability to understand design documentation.
    • Understand the entire scope of business activities and participate in enhancing these areas
    • Working with multiple teams, vendors and senior stakeholders.
    • Working with business to capture & clarify business requirements & support business & technology teams in data analysis.
    • Aware of the AGILE terminologies and should have knowledge of AGILE tools like JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr.
    Experience and Qualifications
    • B.E./B.Tech. or M.C.A. in Computer Science from a reputed University
    • 5-7 years of relevant industry experience.
    Essential Skills
    • Good knowledge of database & reporting technologies/system.
    • Exposure of performing product configurations in the past.
    • ITIL preferred
    • Exposure to structured software development life-cycle methodology (preferably Agile or Iterative development)
    • Experience of working with multi-cultural teams in a geographically diverse environment
    • Sound knowledge of Supplier Risk Management and P2P domain.
    • Should have experience in handling multi-cultural senior stakeholders.
