Commercially evolve innovative themes for the seasons
Sourcing of raw materials (fabrics, trims, etc) both in Indian as well as global markets.
Planning and designing all categories for kids (girls and boys- woven and knits).
Creating initial samples taking good care of fit, quality, finishing and style to meet International standards and timelines.
Should have a good knowledge of embroidery (machine and hand) and Printing techniques.
Freehand sketching.
Designing Graphics (prints and embroideries) and making flats on computer softwares (Photoshop, Illustrator and Corel Draw)
Giving approvals to the production department for fabrics, trims, fit, placement of surface treatment, etc. on the garment.
Supervising the performance of team members and motivating and guiding them to ensure achievement of objectives and meeting the deadlines.
