Job Description

Work in tandem with EG data architects to standardize the processes of data collection, storage, transformation, distribution, and usage
Hire and mentor a team of data engineers, review the skill and expertise requirements to accomplish team goals and identify staffing and talent resources to fill project roles
Develop a diverse talent pipeline for a team, including onboarding, and evaluating talent gaps and opportunities
Guide employees and managers to develop team and individual goals, providing regular and specific feedback, and assess individual and team performance
Gather, document, and analyze business requirements; produce development estimates
Design, develop, test and deploy data collection, flow and transformation components
Troubleshoot and support existing data workflow processes; deliver fixes and optimizations where appropriate
Participate in identifying/solving problems at the program and group level, and collaborate with peers across the senior level organization
Partner with BI users, software engineers and operations specialists on data related investigations, research and issue management
